Cutting no-shows without buying new software
Most no-show fixes stop at "send a reminder." The part that actually recovers the slot is what happens next.
A reminder the day before helps, but a reminder someone can ignore does not tell you anything. The useful version asks for a one-tap reply: confirm, or say you need to move it. Silence then means something different from a "yes" — it is information you can act on instead of finding out at the empty chair.
The second half is what happens to a slot that frees up. If a booking is confirmed as cancelled a day ahead, that gap can be offered straight to whoever is already waiting for an earlier appointment, rather than sitting empty until someone happens to call. Most of the value in "reducing no-shows" is really in refilling the ones that still happen.
None of this requires new software bolted onto a diary you already trust. It requires the reminder and the confirmation to reach the same diary the reminder came from, so a "yes" or a cancellation updates the same place you already look, not a second system you have to check separately.
This is the third stage of the one system this site builds: the reminder, the confirmation, and the refill, working off your existing diary rather than a new one.
